We are located at 2232 Wisconsin Avenue in Downers Grove, which is just 0.5 miles north of the Maple Ave(55 th St.)/Belmont Rd intersection and 1 mile south of Ogden Avenue. This is conveniently located near the intersection of two highways, 1 mile from I-355 and 3 miles from I-88.
We do not currently sell memberships, we are by appointment only.
Absolutely. We are serious about proper warm-ups and cool-downs. Most of our clients arrive 15 minutes early to complete their full warm-up in order to maximize the hour that they train.
We do not offer physical therapy. However, if you are experiencing minor aches and pains at your shoulder, back, hip, and/or knee, we may still be able to help. We are certified Corrective Exercise Specialists through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and our process may be able to help you through proper strength training and mobility routines.
We are not a gym – we are a private personal training studio and our in-club usage is exclusively tailored for an experience centered around you and especially without clutter. We maintain a like-new feel for all our equipment and the studio is regularly cleaned.
We bill your account on a monthly basis, with no long-term commitments. We take credit card payment and Venmo for business. Simply put, we schedule our sessions out a month in advance, confirm the total number of times that you intend to train and we bill that amount at the beginning of the month. If you do not use all of your sessions, don’t worry as they do not expire and we will carry them over to your next month.
We understand that unforeseen events may result in you needing to cancel your appointment. We allow cancellations up to end of business day (5pm) prior to the day of your appointment. This gives us ample time to attempt to fill your appointment with another client. Otherwise, unfortunately we will need to deduct the session from your account.
We have a fully array of equipment. Our strength equipment includes three TRX stations, a full dumbbell rack (5lb to 65lb), multiple adjustable benches, squat racks. Our larger stationary equipment includes a plate loaded leg press, assisted chin-up/dip machine, a seated pulldown/row, and an adjustable dual cable pulley system. We also have several pieces of cardio equipment (e.g., treadmill, rower, etc.).
We have an entryway lounge area, multiple TVs, a sound entertainment system, two bathrooms and an area to change and hang your clothes.
We evaluate multiple areas of your health and fitness on a routine basis. Our tools to evaluate you include the following:
- InBody body composition assessment:
- Percent body fat
- Total body water
- Skeletal muscle mass and dry lean mass
- Segmental lean analysis (left and right arm, trunk, left and right leg)
- Functional Movement Screen:
- Helps gauge improvement in your overall movement ability
- Various strength assessments
Can I just schedule routine evaluations if I train at a gym that does not have your evaluation tools?
Yes – we offer routine wellness visits.
